Client Agreement & Disclaimer in a Nutshell
As part of onboarding, each family receives a written agreement outlining exactly what’s included, how we work, and what’s expected from both sides. This ensures clarity, transparency, and alignment from day one. The following are an overview of each of the items so we recommend you read the full agreement and disclaimer by clicking the button above.
1. Scope of Services
Your agreement will detail the full scope of services, including:
- Custom-designed athlete website
- QR Code to direct users to your website
- Digital flier (with twice-a-year updates)
- 3 images to use in social media per year
- Mentorship hours & recruiting guidance
- Communication and branding strategy
- All services are delivered directly by our team—no outsourcing, no hidden extras.
2. Payment Terms
Full payment is due before services begin unless a payment plan is selected.
Options:
- Pay year-by-year (clients may choose to re-enroll each year).
- Pay upfront for discounted multi-year packages.
- Pay with a 6-month installment plan, which adds a $25 handling fee to each monthly payment. Installment plans are billed automatically until completed.
Payments made by credit card will include a 2% processing fee, in compliance with Colorado law. This fee does not apply to ACH/bank transfer payments.
Client locks in current rates at time of enrollment for the full duration of service.
3. Communication
- Clients agree to respond promptly to scheduling and provide all requested materials (photos, transcripts, videos, bios) on time.
- We build your site with the content provided at onboarding. After launch, you’re responsible for keeping it current. We’ll train you so updates are easy.
- Clear, consistent communication keeps timelines on track.
4. Timelines & Deliverables
Estimated delivery timelines are provided up front. Delays in sending materials may push back completion dates.
5. Cancellation & Refunds
- Services are non-refundable once work begins.
- If you cancel before substantial work has started, we may consider a prorated refund on a case-by-case basis.
6. Performance Disclaimer
We can’t guarantee admission to a specific college, program, or team. Our role is to provide expert tools, guidance, and strategy; final decisions rest with coaches, admissions offices, and other external factors.
7. Athlete Responsibility
Athletes must actively participate—communicating with coaches, following action plans, and keeping their brand materials updated.
8. Parental Conduct
Parents are encouraged to support their athlete’s independence. Excessive interference that disrupts communication may result in adjusted communication boundaries.
9. Media Release
Unless you opt out in writing, you grant permission for Alatium to use non-sensitive athlete images, videos, and performance materials for portfolios and marketing.
10. Data Privacy
All personal, academic, and performance information is confidential and will not be shared without your consent.
11. Non-Transferability
Services are specific to the enrolled athlete and cannot be transferred to siblings, teammates, or others.
12. Service Expiration
Services must be used within 12 months unless we approve an extension in writing.
13. Technology & Assets
Clients must provide all digital assets in a timely manner. Delays can impact timelines.
14. Dispute Resolution
If an issue arises, both parties will first try to resolve it informally. If that’s unsuccessful, we’ll move to mediation before any legal action.
